Brendan Woo was born and raised in Orange County, California where he graduated from Troy High School. He decided to move to Hawaii, where he had extended family and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in Kinesiology and Rehabilitation Science. To prepare for graduate school, he gained experience as an aide at Moon Physical Therapy, Ward and instilled his passion for helping patients. He furthered his education at West Coast University Center of Graduates and earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. While in the process of receiving his DPT degree, he also received his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Brendan has experience working in different settings including SNF’s, outpatient orthopedics, aquatics, and sport-specific facilities.
Brendan’s passion for physical therapy started at a young age when he tore his ACL in high school playing basketball. Rehabbing his knee aided in his quick recovery and he was very grateful for the physical therapist. Brendan wants to do the same by helping his patients regain their prior level of function and bring joy back to their life. Brendan is now focused on getting his Exos Performance Specialist and Graston Technique Specialist. In his free time he enjoys working out, hiking, going to the beach, eating food, and hanging out with friends. He has a huge passion for watching sports including baseball, basketball, football, boxing, and UFC.
