Shakyra “Ky” was born in Garden City, Kansas and has moved to various states such as California, Georgia, and Louisiana. She recently moved to Honolulu, HI for her husband’s Duty Station in the Air Force.
She attended Southeastern Louisiana University (SELU) and received her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. During her time at SELU, she discovered her love for Physical Therapy through her internship and working as a Physical Therapy Technician. She obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Louisiana State University Health and Science Center in Shreveport.
She enjoys training and playing with her puppy, Odin. She also enjoys listening to music, going to the beach, trying new foods, exercising, hiking, traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
