Markie was born and raised in Mililani and graduated from Mililani High School in 2017. She went on to the University of Hawaii at Hilo where she played softball and majored in Biology. She graduated from UH Hilo in 2021, with plans to go to graduate school for physical therapy. She enjoys playing and watching baseball/softball, going to the beach, watching sunsets, and picking sunflowers.
