Carissa Reed is originally from Perryville, Missouri where she attended Perryville High School. After she Graduated from High School, she went on to attend college at Maryville University in St. Louis Missouri, and then moved onto UNC-Chapel Hill for Physical Therapy School. On her free time Carissa is a part-time sailing instructor, a seasoned military spouse and mother of 5 beautiful children. She also loves running, lifting weights, and being outdoors, on and off the water, with her friends and family. Some of her favorite life experiences have been seeing lava flowing from Kilauea on Big Island at dawn, skydiving on North Shore, and most of all being a Mom. Carissa chose to be a PT many years ago to help people get back to living strong, healthy lives and more recently have found a passion for pelvic floor physical therapy. I want to empower and educate women on how to take control of their pelvic health and live their best lives.
